Minimum Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Previous experience in shipping, receiving, warehousing, inventory control, logistics, manufacturing, or distribution preferred.
  • Basic computer skills and experience entering transactions into business systems.
  • Ability to read and understand purchase orders, packing lists, bills of lading, part numbers, inventory documentation, and shipping instructions.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple assignments in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work independently while contributing effectively as part of a team.
  • Ability and willingness to learn company ERP/WMS systems and established operating procedures.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working in a large manufacturing, distribution, aerospace, electronics, semiconductor, industrial, or technology organization.
  • Experience with Oracle or comparable ERP/WMS systems.
  • Forklift certification or previous powered industrial truck experience.
  • Experience with cycle counting and inventory reconciliation.
  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, 5S, or continuous-improvement principles.
  • Experience with international shipping documentation.
  • DOT/IATA hazardous-material training or experience, when applicable to the operation.
  • OSHA-related warehouse safety training.
  • Physical Requirements
  • The employee must be able to perform the essential functions of a warehouse and shipping/receiving environment, with reasonable accommodation where required.
  • The position may require the employee to:
  • Regularly stand, walk, bend, reach, stoop, push, pull, and perform repetitive material-handling activities.
  • Lift and move materials within company-established safe lifting requirements.
  • Work around forklifts, trucks, loading docks, warehouse equipment, and manufacturing operations.
  • Work in warehouse environments where temperatures, noise levels, and activity may vary.
  • Wear required PPE while performing designated activities.
  • Specific physical requirements should be established by the company based on the actual facility, equipment, and materials handled.
