We are partnered with a shipping company based in Dubai, currently operating within the UAE's Free Zone framework.
We are seeking two (2)
Part-Time Shipping & Chartering Admin Executives
— one based in Ras Al Khaimah and one based in Dubai — to join our clients team on a flexible two-day-per-week arrangement.
This role carries significant
legal responsibility
, as the successful candidate will serve as an
authorised representative of the company

*xecuting and signing commercial shipping agreements, charter party contracts, and related maritime documentation on the company's behalf.*
As such, UAE citizenship is a mandatory requirement and
candidates must hold a recognised university degree.
Commercial Shipping & Chartering
- Act as the authorised representative of the company in the UAE in relation to commercial shipping operations, vessel fixtures, and maritime transactions.
- Execute and sign charter party agreements, contracts, deeds, and all related shipping documentation on behalf of the company.
- Coordinate and manage document execution processes to ensure timely completion of agreements.
- Affix the company chop/seal to official documents where required to give legal force and effect.
Administrative & Government Liaison
- Provide administrative support, including visiting the company secretary's office, auditor's office, banks, and relevant government departments for submission, collection, and processing of documents.
- Handle general administrative duties, including preparing documents for audit purposes.
- Maintain a working understanding of the company's accounting system (Danaos) and assist in addressing auditors' queries by providing necessary information and supporting documentation.
- Carry out ad hoc assignments as directed by management.
Mandatory Requirements
- UAE Citizen (Emirati nationality).
- Foreign candidates holding UAE citizenship or a valid UAE passport are welcome to apply.
- Non-UAE nationals will not be considered for this position
- Recognised university degree (Bachelor's degree or equivalent, minimum).
- Demonstrable experience in the shipping industry.
- Ability and willingness to represent the company in the signing of agreements and legal documents on behalf of the company.
- Agreement to part-time employment on a 2-day-per-week schedule.
Preferred Skills & Competencies
- Familiarity with charter party contracts and shipping documentation.
- Good command of written and spoken English.
- Detail-oriented, responsible, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Prior exposure to the Danaos accounting/shipping management system is advantageous.
Location Details
There are two (2) open positions, each assigned to a separate office location.
Candidates must be available to work at the location for which they are applying.
Position 1 — Ras Al Khaimah
RAKEZ Al Hulaila Industrial Zone, Ras Al Khaimah, United Arab Emirates
Position 2 — Dubai
YIWU Market UAE, Dubai Aid City, Dubai, United Arab Emirates
