The Opportunity

The Role

• Receive and unpack goods, verify contents against documents, and enter received goods accurately into the computer tracking system.
• Prepare packages according to packing slips; pick and pack goods for customer and branch orders.
• Ship goods in accordance with organizational best practices and customer requirements.
• Maintain Bills of Lading and book and arrange carriers for timely delivery.
• Stock shelves using the appropriate sorting and organization system and equipment, including forklifts.
• File packing slips from suppliers and coworkers; print service and production documents as required.
• Complete a daily forklift log and keep the warehouse clean and organized.
• Perform local pickup and delivery tasks as required, and operate equipment safely.

Candidate Requirements

• High school education.
• 1–2 years of work experience, including previous shipping and receiving duties in a warehouse environment.
• Forklift license and current training are considered an asset; valid driver’s license.
• Competence with Microsoft Office and basic multitasking skills to prioritize work duties.
