The SHEQ System Specialist I will be responsible for supporting and enhancing the organization’s Safety, Health, Environment, and Quality (SHEQ) management systems, with a primary focus on Quality (Q).
The role involves department administrative responsibilities, SHEQ reporting, maintaining the SHEQ management systems, documentation, and general assistance in auditing, SHEQ training and other departmental and SHEQ aspects of company operations.
• Quality & SHEQ Systems Management
- Assist in and maintain the SHEQ Management system documentation
- Assist in all SHEQ initiatives
- Assist in the SHEQ aspects of tendering
- Performing SHEQ Inductions and onboarding
- Assistance in the preparation of SHEQ documentation
• Auditing & Compliance
- Assisting in planning and performing internal audits
- Facilitating external and third-party audits
- SHEQ Reporting
- Prepare and analyze regional SHEQ reports
- Track KPIs and highlight trends, risks, and improvement areas
• Documentation & Administration
- Manage SHEQ documentation and control systems
- Support departmental administrative activities
• Tendering & Projects Support
- Assist in SHEQ-related tender submissions
- Provide documentation and compliance inputs for project bids
- Preparation of project documentation
What You’ll Need
- Graduate, preferably from a Science or Engineering field
- 5 years in Quality / SHE fields with site experience in heavy industry - O&G, Shipyards, Fabrication, Factories, etc.
- ISO Lead Auditor Certifications, NEBOSH / Safety Qualifications , Quality Assurance certifications
- Strong command of English (verbal and written communication)
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Valid UAE driving license is an advantage.
