Role overview
The SHEQ Advisor supports safety, health, environmental, and quality standards across varied company operations, work scopes, and locations.
Responsibilities
- Promote a positive SHEQ culture and coach colleagues in its practices.
- Ensure compliance with company and contractual SHEQ standards and applicable legal requirements.
- Maintain high SHEQ standards at facilities and work locations.
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders across varied work scopes.
- Assess jobsite and workplace activity safety.
- Conduct and oversee safety inspections and training.
Requirements
- University degree in a related field.
- Diploma or certification in Health, Safety & Environment and Quality.
- Expert knowledge of SHEQ regulations and a strong understanding of heavy lifting and transport equipment.
- At least six years of relevant field experience.
- Proficiency in SHEQ systems and MS Office Suite.
- Fluent English, spoken and written.
