Key Responsibilities
- Supervise daily site operations for sewer and drainage works
- Lead and coordinate teams of laborers, operators, and subcontractors
- Interpret project drawings, plans, and specifications accurately
- Ensure compliance with Abu Dhabi municipality standards and safety regulations
- Monitor work progress and report updates to project managers
- Plan manpower, materials, and equipment requirements
- Conduct site inspections and resolve technical issues as they arise
- Maintain high-quality workmanship and ensure deadlines are met
- Enforce strict health and safety practices on-site
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Sewer Foreman or similar role in infrastructure or civil construction
- Strong knowledge of sewer networks, pipelines, manholes, and drainage systems
- Familiarity with excavation, pipe laying, and backfilling processes
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
- Good leadership and communication skills
- Knowledge of local authority regulations (Abu Dhabi preferred)
- Minimum 5–8 years of relevant experience
- Valid UAE driving license is an advantage
Preferred Qualifications
- Diploma or certification in Civil Engineering or related field
- Experience working on large-scale infrastructure projects in the UAE
