Overview
We are seeking an experienced ServiceNow Infrastructure & Database Administrator to manage, maintain, optimize, and support our on-premises ServiceNow platform.
The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in ServiceNow infrastructure, system administration, performance tuning, troubleshooting, and database administration, with preference given to candidates experienced with MariaDB.
This role is responsible for ensuring platform availability, security, scalability, disaster recovery readiness, and overall operational excellence across all ServiceNow environments.
Servicenow Platform Administration
- Install, configure, upgrade, and maintain on-premises ServiceNow environments.
- Manage Development, Test, UAT, Pre-Production, and Production environments.
- Perform platform cloning, patching, hotfix deployment, and version upgrades.
- Monitor platform health, system performance, and availability.
- Troubleshoot platform-related issues and coordinate resolution with technical teams.
- Manage MID Servers, integrations, and infrastructure dependencies.
- Support ServiceNow modules including ITSM, ITOM, CMDB, Discovery, and custom applications.
- Ensure compliance with ServiceNow best practices and architecture standards.
Infrastructure Management
- Administer Linux and/or Windows servers hosting ServiceNow components.
- Manage web servers, application servers, load balancers, and supporting infrastructure.
- Configure and maintain SSL certificates, DNS records, and network connectivity.
- Monitor CPU, memory, disk utilization, and system performance.
- Perform capacity planning and infrastructure optimization.
- Implement and maintain backup and disaster recovery procedures.
- Manage storage systems and ensure data protection compliance.
Database Administration (Mariadb Preferred)
- Install, configure, and administer MariaDB databases supporting ServiceNow environments.
- Monitor database performance and optimize SQL queries.
- Perform database tuning, indexing, and optimization activities.
- Manage database replication and high-availability configurations.
- Conduct database backup, restore, and recovery operations.
- Monitor database growth and implement capacity planning strategies.
- Troubleshoot database-related incidents and performance bottlenecks.
- Implement database security controls and access management.
