Position Summary
- We are seeking an experienced ServiceNow Infrastructure & Database Administrator to manage, maintain, optimize, and support our on-premises ServiceNow platform.
- The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in ServiceNow infrastructure, system administration, performance tuning, troubleshooting, and database administration, with preference given to candidates experienced with MariaDB.
- This role is responsible for ensuring platform availability, security, scalability, disaster recovery readiness, and overall operational excellence across all ServiceNow environments.
• ServiceNow Platform Administration
- Install, configure, upgrade, and maintain on-premises ServiceNow environments.
- Manage Development, Test, UAT, Pre-Production, and Production environments.
- Perform platform cloning, patching, hotfix deployment, and version upgrades.
- Monitor platform health, system performance, and availability.
- Troubleshoot platform-related issues and coordinate resolution with technical teams.
- Manage MID Servers, integrations, and infrastructure dependencies.
- Support ServiceNow modules, including ITSM, ITOM, CMDB, Discovery, and custom applications.
- Ensure compliance with ServiceNow best practices and architecture standards.
- Infrastructure Management
- Administer Linux and/or Windows servers hosting ServiceNow components.
- Manage web servers, application servers, load balancers, and supporting infrastructure.
- Configure and maintain SSL certificates, DNS records, and network connectivity.
- Monitor CPU, memory, disk utilization, and system performance.
- Perform capacity planning and infrastructure optimization.
- Implement and maintain backup and disaster recovery procedures.
- Manage storage systems and ensure data protection compliance.
• Database Administration (MariaDB Preferred)
- Install, configure, and administer MariaDB databases supporting ServiceNow environments.
- Monitor database performance and optimize SQL queries.
- Perform database tuning, indexing, and optimization activities.
- Manage database replication and high-availability configurations.
- Conduct database backup, restore, and recovery operations.
- Monitor database growth and implement capacity planning strategies.
- Troubleshoot database-related incidents and performance bottlenecks.
- Implement database security controls and access management.
Duration
- 12 months (with high possibility of extension)
