Job Duties

• Under general supervision, coordinates the work of Operator Assistants and Service Operators at the job site.
• Responsible for the activities relative to maintaining, setting up, testing, and operating equipment at the customer location and field camp.
• Assist in providing technical, operational and practical expertise to development and operations technology projects.
• Obtains pertinent service work information from the customer and effectively communicates appropriate information to assigned worksite staff.
• Trains and provides guidance to Service Operators and Operator Assistants in the proper performance of pre-trip and post-trip vehicle and equipment inspections and associated paperwork and/or reports.
• Trains Service Operators and Operator Assistants in the rig operation relative to assembly, operation, and maintenance of equipment.
• Completes appropriate documents, reports, and forms that affect the financial results of the business unit, (field ticket, etc.).
• Job tasks, correctly performed, impact indirectly on cost containment, efficiency, profitability or operations. Skills are typically acquired through successful completion of high school diploma or similar education.
• Given the nature of oil field service work, the ability to communicate effectively with others is necessary.
• Must be knowledgeable of HMS standards and guidelines for PSL personnel.
• Promotes safety awareness and environmental consciousness, and complies with all applicable safety and environmental procedures and regulations.
• Ensures compliance with Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) regulations and guidelines. Promotes and takes an active part in quality improvement processes.
