Position Overview
Position: Service Specialist, reporting to the Regional Parts & Service Manager - Hyderabad.

Mission: ensure safe commissioning, maximum equipment uptime, precision drilling, and customer excellence while ensuring safety and business growth.
Key Job Responsibilities
- Promote a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with SHEQ standards.
- Execute equipment installation, commissioning, functional testing, and performance validation at sites.
- Perform scheduled maintenance, breakdown repairs, and root cause analysis to minimize downtime.
- Monitor and improve equipment reliability by reviewing maintenance deviations and implementing corrective actions.
- Meet contractual KPIs, customer performance targets, and service-level commitments.
- Provide technical support to customers and dealers, guide service teams, and deliver technical training on advanced drilling technologies.
- Troubleshoot and maintain electrical circuits, motors, drives, PLCs, sensors, controllers, and machine control systems.
- Diagnose, configure, and resolve technical issues related to Rig Control Systems (RCS) and advanced machine control technologies.
- Configure, calibrate, and maintain hole navigation systems for accurate hole positioning, alignment, inclination, and drilling depth.
- Collaborate with factory engineering and product support teams to resolve complex technical issues.
- Drive equipment availability, customer satisfaction, service efficiency, and genuine spare parts business growth.
- Develop strong long-term relationships with mining customers through regular site visits and proactive engagement.
Experience Requirement
- Diploma or bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, or Mechatronics Engineering.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in servicing, troubleshooting, and maintaining heavy mining or drilling equipment.
- High Voltage Heavy Electrical License or ESCC (Mining Installations) is required.
- Hands-on experience in electrical troubleshooting, commissioning, and breakdown maintenance.
- Practical experience in RCS, Auto Drilling, and Hole Navigation Systems is highly preferred.
- Experience in customer site support, fault diagnosis, and OEM technical coordination.
