Service Porter

Responsibilities:

• Perform trailer sanitation in accordance with company standards and procedures.
• Move and position equipment throughout the yard safely and efficiently.
• Identify and report major facility repairs or maintenance concerns to management.
• Ensure equipment is parked and stored in designated, safe areas.
• Conduct routine inspections of incoming and outgoing equipment to identify damage, defects, or maintenance needs.
• Maintain accurate equipment inventories and assist with tracking equipment locations.
• Maintain the cleanliness, organization, and overall condition of campus facilities.
• Strong verbal communication skills and the ability to communicate effectively with team members and management.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong time-management skills and a commitment to punctuality and attendance.

Job Qualifications and Skills:

Job Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to meet the physical demands of the position, including walking, standing, and performing outdoor duties as required.
• Adequate vision to safely inspect, move, and position equipment.
• Valid driver's license.
• Due to the collaborative nature of the work environment, the spontaneous need for idea generation and execution, and the potential for expedited remediations, responses, or information gathering, in-person, in-office attendance is an essential function of this position.
