- This role will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing solutions on the ServiceNow platform to support IT Service Management (ITSM) and other enterprise workflows.
- The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with scripting, integrations, and ServiceNow modules, and a passion for building scalable, high-performing applications.
- Develop and customize ServiceNow applications and modules (e.g., ITSM, CMDB, Incident, Change, Request, Problem).
- Design and implement solutions using Flow Designer, Business Rules, UI Policies, Client Scripts, and other platform capabilities.
- Integrate ServiceNow with third-party tools and external systems using REST/SOAP APIs.
- Participate in the full software development lifecycle including requirements gathering, technical design, development, testing, and deployment.
- Troubleshoot and resolve platform issues and bugs in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Maintain proper documentation for developed solutions and platform configurations.
- Stay current on ServiceNow updates, new features, and best practices
Minimum Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
- 2–5+ years of experience as a ServiceNow Developer.
Preferred Qualification
- Strong knowledge of JavaScript, Glide APIs, HTML, CSS, and XML.
- Experience with ServiceNow modules like ITSM, CMDB, or other scoped applications.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) certification required; additional certifications (e.g., Certified Application Developer, ITSM) a plus.
- Experience with version control tools (e.g., Git) is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Experience with ServiceNow HRSD, CSM, or SecOps.
- Knowledge of ITIL processes and practices.
- Exposure to DevOps and CI/CD pipelines with ServiceNow
