Service Manager

At Steele Mazda St. John's we’ve built more than a dealership, we’ve built trust. We’re currently looking for an experienced and community-minded Service Manager to lead our service team. In this key role, you’ll ensure our day-to-day operations run smoothly, while keeping customer satisfaction and team success at the heart of everything you do. Lead, support and mentor a team of technicians and service advisors

Drive customer satisfaction, service accuracy and overall department performance

Oversee repair processes and ensure all work meets Steele Auto Group's high standards

Step in to support diagnostics and technical challenges when needed

Keep the shop organized, safe and fully equipped for day-to-day efficiency

Train and develop your team, encouraging continuous learning and growth

Monitor productivity and performance targets, making adjustments as needed

Ensure customers are supported with care, clarity and professionalism

Foster a team culture rooted in trust, accountability and great service

3+ years of automotive experience, ideally within Fixed Operations

Proven leadership experience with a hands-on, supportive style

Highly organized and motivated, with a drive to continuously improve

Strong time management and problem-solving skills

Ability to foster a positive shop culture where people want to show up and do their best
