Service Director

Endress+Hauser are actively seeking a Service Director to lead our UK Service business.

As a member of the Senior Leadership Team, you will shape and deliver the Service strategy, driving sustainable growth, customer excellence, operational performance and people development.

• Develop and execute the UK Service strategy in line with UK and Group objectives.
• Deliver Service revenue, profitability and growth objectives, including lifecycle services, service agreements and recurring revenue streams.
• Lead the safe, effective and efficient delivery of Service activities across the UK.
• Champion a customer-focused culture and build strong relationships with key customers and stakeholders.
• Drive operational excellence through effective systems, processes, resource deployment and continuous improvement.
• Develop and lead a high-performing Service Leadership Team, supporting engagement, development and succession planning.
• Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, quality and corporate standards, while visibly leading Health, Safety and Wellbeing.
• Identify future market opportunities, customer needs and emerging industry trends, driving innovation and digital service adoption.
• Work collaboratively with Sales, Solutions, Marketing, Finance and HR to deliver wider business objectives.
• Maintain the network of service partners to support efficient and effective service delivery.

Qualification + Profile of the Service Director:

• Degree qualified, or equivalent experience, in Engineering, Business, Operations or a related discipline.
• Significant senior leadership experience within a Service, Engineering, Technical or Operational environment.
• A proven track record of delivering business growth, operational performance and organisational change.
• Experience leading geographically dispersed, multi-disciplinary teams and developing leadership capability.
• Strong commercial acumen, including experience managing budgets, financial performance and organisational resources.
• Experience developing and implementing business strategy and building senior-level customer relationships.
• A collaborative and inclusive leadership style, with strong communication, judgement and influencing skills.
• Resilient, adaptable and future-focused, with integrity, personal accountability and a passion for developing people.
• Experience in industrial automation, instrumentation, process industries, a global or matrix organisation, or digital lifecycle services would be advantageous.
