Experienced Automotive Service Advisor (5–7+ Years Experience Required)

Job Summary

We are a well established automotive repair shop seeking a **highly experienced Service Advisor** to join our team.

This position is suited for a professional who has worked **locally in multiple automotive repair shops** and understands the demands of a fast paced service environment.

The ideal candidate is someone who can be trusted to manage their responsibilities independently, maintain high standards of professionalism, and represent the shop with integrity at all times.

Key Responsibilities

  • Welcome customers professionally and accurately understand their vehicle concerns
  • Prepare clear and detailed repair orders and communicate repairs in a transparent and confident manner
  • Manage multiple repair orders simultaneously while maintaining accuracy and organization
  • Coordinate closely with technicians to prioritize jobs and ensure smooth workflow
  • Take ownership of service processes from customer intake to vehicle delivery
  • Address customer concerns and complaints calmly and effectively, taking initiative to resolve issues
  • Recommend required repairs and maintenance honestly and responsibly
  • Follow up with customers on approvals, job status, and service completion
  • Maintain accurate documentation, invoicing, and service records
  • Uphold shop policies, quality standards, and customer service expectations

Required Experience & Qualifications

  • **Minimum 5–7 years of experience as an Automotive Service Advisor**
  • **Local experience required**, preferably across **multiple automotive repair shops**
  • Strong understanding of vehicle systems, diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance schedules
  • Proven ability to work efficiently in a high-volume, high-pressure environment
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage competing priorities without compromising service quality
  • Basic computer and service management software proficiency
  • Motivated, reliable, and committed to contributing to the long-term success of the shop
