Senior Veterinary Doctor, **Amity Veterinary Clinic – Dubai**
Amity Veterinary Clinic is a well-established, fast-growing veterinary facility in Dubai, known for delivering **high-quality, evidence-based care** and building long-term relationships with our clients.
We are looking for a **Senior Veterinary Doctor** who combines strong clinical expertise with leadership, accountability, and a genuine passion for patient care.
This role is ideal for a veterinarian who wants to **take ownership, mentor others, and work in a clinic that values standards—not shortcuts.**
Key Responsibilities
- Lead consultations, case workups, and medical decision-making with confidence and accuracy
- Perform soft tissue surgeries independently (routine + advanced cases preferred)
- Handle emergency and critical cases with sound clinical judgment
- Develop clear, practical treatment plans tailored to each patient
- Use diagnostic tools effectively (X-ray, ultrasound, lab diagnostics)
- Ensure **high medical standards and evidence-based protocols** are followed
- Communicate clearly with pet owners — building trust and compliance
- Mentor junior veterinarians and nurses where needed
- Maintain accurate, detailed medical records
- Work closely with management to improve clinical operations and patient outcomes
Requirements
- Valid **MOCCAE license** (mandatory)
- Minimum **15+ years clinical experience** (UAE experience preferred)
- Strong surgical skills (spay/neuter is basic — we’re looking beyond that)
- Confident in diagnostics, case management, and treatment planning
- Experience handling a busy caseload independently
- Excellent communication skills with clients and team
- Leadership mindset — not just a “shift doctor”
- Commitment to ethical, compassionate care
