Job Description
As the Senior Veterinarian and CMO, you will be the clinical heartbeat of our practice. You will divide your time between medical practice, clinic management, and strategic leadership. You will work closely with the founding team, defining medical protocols, standardizing quality and consistency of patient and client care, elevating the performance of the medical team and ensuring our clinic remains at the forefront of veterinary medicine while fostering an environment where our employees love to show up every day.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Practicing Veterinarian for our Al Furjan branch – leading consultations, performing and overseeing surgeries.
- Designing and implementing protocols, treatment guidelines, and standard operating procedures across all clinics
- Mentoring and developing medical team and building a culture of continuous growth
- Collaborating with Operations Manager on scheduling and operational workflows
- Reviewing medical and operational data and utilizing insights to facilitate improvements
- Monitoring medical records, controlled substance compliance, and clinical outcomes to maintain excellence
- Lead a positive, collaborative, and inclusive workplace where professional development is prioritized.
Skills & Qualifications
- Veterinarian with 10 years of experience (experience in a Medical Director or leadership role is strongly preferred)
- Previous practice management experience, standardizing protocols across multiple clinic branches, driving performance, and create outstanding client experiences
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Ability to multitask and operate in the fast-paced environment
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ownership and growth mentality
