About the role

Discovery and end-to-end design

• Lead discovery by understanding user needs, operational constraints, and business goals; translate findings into problem statements, journeys, and experience principles.
• Explore solutions through sketches, wireframes, prototypes, and usability testing.
• Own design from concept through delivery, iteration, and post-launch optimization.
• Design scalable B2B flows for itinerary building, booking management, and internal tools; provide polished specifications and handoff documentation.

Collaboration and design systems

• Partner with Product, Engineering, and organizational stakeholders to shape roadmaps and balance user, technical, and commercial needs.
• Communicate design decisions using data, research, and rationale.
• Evolve the design system; document interaction patterns, UI specifications, and design rationale.
• Facilitate critiques and workshops, mentor designers, and promote UX best practices and accessibility.

AI and measurement

• Use tools such as Figma Make and Claude to explore, prototype, and iterate; collaborate with engineers on AI-built prototypes and evaluate output for quality and bias.
• Define UX metrics and KPIs, and use qualitative and quantitative data to validate designs and improve outcomes.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of professional UX design experience and demonstrated ownership of complex digital products.
• Strong B2B product or platform experience, systems thinking, and experience designing for expert users or operational tools.
• Portfolio showing end-to-end design, including discovery, problem framing, interaction design, and shipped solutions.
• Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript capabilities and constraints; proficiency in Figma, prototyping, and shared design-system components.
• Experience defining and tracking UX metrics; daily use of AI tools for research, ideation, and prototyping, with critical evaluation of their output.
• Working knowledge of WCAG and inclusive design; ability to work in ambiguous, evolving problem spaces and iterate quickly.
• Strong communication and influence skills; experience facilitating critiques or workshops and mentoring designers.
• Experience with high-stakes, data-dense interfaces; fintech experience is strongly preferred.

Additional preferred experience

• Travel, ecommerce, or other complex service-based domains; internal tools, revenue-impacting workflows, or multi-sided platforms.
• Conversational or AI-assisted interface design.

Compensation

• Expected compensation range is $110,000 to $135,000; actual compensation may vary based on market, geography, and job-related factors.
• Employees may participate in incentive programs and compensation tied to business and individual performance.
