The designer is expected to make design decisions, collaborate with developers and management, and maintain high-quality standards.
UI/UX and project ownership
- Lead design for websites, mobile apps, dashboards, SaaS products, landing pages, and digital platforms.
- Create user flows, information architecture, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity UI designs for desktop, tablet, and mobile.
- Develop reusable UI components and design systems; maintain visual and interaction consistency.
- Conduct basic user research and usability analysis, identify UX problems, and recommend practical solutions and product improvements.
- Own projects from concept to final delivery; collaborate with developers and review implemented interfaces.
- Coordinate with management, developers, marketing teams, and clients; manage priorities and deadlines across multiple projects.
- Guide junior designers and help maintain overall design quality.
Graphic, brand, and video design
- Create social media creatives, banners, posters, advertisements, brochures, presentations, marketing materials, and promotional designs.
- Develop branding guidelines and adapt designs for platforms, campaigns, and screen sizes.
- Create and edit reels, shorts, promotional and product videos, advertisements, and social content.
- Add captions, transitions, music, effects, animations, and basic motion graphics; create content for digital channels including Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube.
- Develop simple motion graphics and animations for websites, applications, and marketing campaigns.
Required qualifications
- At least 4 years of professional experience in UI/UX, product design, creative design, or a related field.
- Strong proficiency in Figma and understanding of UI/UX principles, responsive design, usability, and design systems.
- Strong knowledge of typography, color theory, composition, spacing, grids, branding, and visual hierarchy.
- Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Canva, or equivalent tools; experience with Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, CapCut, or similar video-editing tools.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and strong understanding of web and mobile design standards.
- Good understanding of current design trends and digital platforms; strong English and Hindi communication and presentation skills.
- Basic HTML/CSS knowledge is an added advantage.
- A strong portfolio is mandatory; the visible portfolio examples include website UI/UX, mobile app UI/UX, dashboards/web applications, and landing pages.
Senior-level expectations
- Take ownership of projects and work independently from requirements through final delivery.
- Understand business and user requirements before beginning design and make informed design decisions.
- Present and explain design concepts to management or clients; identify problems and suggest practical, creative solutions.
- Maintain consistency across products and platforms, meet deadlines without compromising quality, and mentor junior designers when required.
