The Senior Treasury Analyst manages day-to-day liquidity, funding, and cash deployment across entities, products, and currencies.
The role supports settlements and payment flows while ensuring surplus cash is deployed prudently and efficiently.
It combines hands-on treasury execution, analytical problem-solving, and continuous improvement.
Responsibilities
- Manage liquidity forecasts, cash positions, funding needs, operating balances, cash movements, and intercompany flows.
- Manage FX needs and coordinate trade execution, settlement, confirmations, records, and audit trails with banks.
- Place and redeem surplus cash in approved money-market funds and permitted short-term instruments; monitor balances, maturities, returns, and operational workflows.
- Support approved cash-pooling and automated sweeps; maintain treasury policies, procedures, controls, and frameworks.
- Improve management reporting on cash, liquidity forecasts, funding, investments, and currency exposure; investigate variances and provide actionable insight.
- Work with Risk as part of the first-line Treasury function.
Candidate requirements
- Use sound judgement within approved limits and delegated authorities.
- Work across Treasury, Finance, Risk, Payments Operations, Product, Engineering, and Data.
- Manage FX within approved products, counterparties, mandates, and limits.
- Evaluate liquidity needs, settlement timing, counterparty exposure, maturities, yield, and regulatory eligibility for short-term investments.
- Identify improvements to liquidity, funding, treasury processes, and financial risk management.
