Role overview

Senior Treasury Analyst in Treasury, reporting to the Director, Treasury & AP, supporting KPC Health’s multi-hospital system.

This analytical treasury role focuses on cash, liquidity, forecasting, debt and investment support, payment monitoring, risk, reporting, and process automation.

The role does not administer bank accounts or entitlements, perform bank reconciliations, or handle general-ledger accounting or journal entries; those duties remain with designated Accounting teams.

Responsibilities and success measures

  • Lead treasury analysis and reporting and support liquidity protection and sound financial decisions.
  • Automate and streamline treasury tasks and systems, replacing manual spreadsheet-driven processes with integrated, controlled processes.
  • Partner with banks, treasury vendors, and internal teams across Accounting, AP, Revenue Cycle, Payroll, Tax, Legal, IT, and operations.
  • Produce accurate, timely daily cash positions and treasury reports; ensure payroll, vendor, debt-service, and operating needs are funded on time.
  • Resolve bank and vendor service issues within agreed service levels and reduce bank fees, idle cash, manual work, and control gaps.
  • Automate at least three treasury processes, document hours saved, support the 13-week forecast with clear variance explanations, and deliver treasury projects on schedule.
  • Maintain compliance with policy, approval, covenant, and audit requirements.

Required qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, business administration, or a related field; equivalent experience is considered.
  • At least 3 years of progressive experience in corporate treasury, cash management, liquidity analysis, FP&A, or banking analysis; 5+ years preferred.
  • Advanced Excel, including complex formulas, pivot tables, data validation, and financial modeling; Power Query; and Power BI or a similar reporting tool.
  • Demonstrated success automating or streamlining finance or treasury processes.
  • Experience with treasury management systems, bank portals, ERP reporting tools, and electronic payment data.
  • Working knowledge of cash forecasting, liquidity management, payment controls, debt and investments, and financial risk.
  • Strong analytical judgment, attention to detail, communication, and ability to build partnerships with banks, vendors, and internal stakeholders.

Preferred qualifications

  • CTP (AFP) certification or working toward it; healthcare or complex multi-entity experience.
  • Bank API, host-to-host, or SFTP connectivity experience; Power Automate, UiPath, VBA, SQL, or Python.

Location and work arrangement

  • On-site in Santa Ana and Corona, California, with regular travel between offices.

Compensation

  • Base pay range is $92,000–$133,000 annually for Orange County/Corona, California; placement depends on experience, skills, certifications, and internal equity.
