Senior Transport Engineer

About the role

Key responsibilities

• Lead design and technical delivery for roads, intersections, and traffic systems.
• Conduct traffic impact assessments, transport modelling, and feasibility studies.
• Use SIDRA, AIMSUN, and VISSIM for network analysis and simulation.
• Ensure compliance with UAE transport regulations and international standards.
• Collaborate with clients, authorities, and internal teams on project alignment and delivery.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to team development.
• Prepare technical reports, design documentation, and stakeholder presentations.
• Support tenders and business development initiatives.

Qualifications and experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Transport Engineering; a Master’s degree is preferred.
• At least 8–10 years of transport engineering experience, preferably in the UAE or GCC region.
• Proficiency in SIDRA, AIMSUN, and VISSIM traffic modelling tools.
• Strong understanding of UAE transport authority requirements.
• Extensive Abu Dhabi experience with developers and ITC is preferred.
• A strong working relationship with ITC and other transport authorities is essential.
• Excellent communication, coordination, and stakeholder engagement skills.
