Senior Trading and Risk Specialist

Role Overview

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily trading platform operations (MT4/MT5 servers, LP platforms, bridges, risk and reporting systems systems).
• Monitor trade flows, margins, execution quality, spreads, swaps, slippage; escalate abnormalities.
• Execute hedging orders in line with internal rules and practices
• Detect abusive client behavior, investigate suspicious client actions, provide research and classification on abusive practices.
• Operate PrimeXM, Your Bourse, Centroid, and MahiMarkets (Mahi) environments.
• Coordinate with Liquidity Providers for conditions, order routing, and technical issue resolution.
• Support hedging workflows and exposure monitoring.
• Support new product launches, platform upgrades, and integrations.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to junior trading ops staff.

Must-Have Qualifications

• Proven experience (5+ years) in Trading or Trading Operations
• Strong knowledge of CFD products (FX, commodities, indices, equities, crypto).
• Hands-on experience with MT4/MT5 platforms and aggregation systems: PrimeXM, Your Bourse, Centroid, MahiMarkets etc.
• Understanding of order routing, risk models (A-book/B-book), execution methods, and client trade lifecycle.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills under time pressure.
• Good communication skills to interact with Liquidity Providers, Clients, and other desks .

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with FIX protocol and API trading
• Familiarity with risk management workflows (hedging, exposure limits, margin monitoring etc.)
• SQL and Python skills for internal systems development and integration, reporting and troubleshooting.
• Prior team-lead experience.
