The Opportunity
Akbar Alam Luxury Tours is seeking a Senior Tourist Coach Captain to lead our premier sightseeing operations from the historic heart of Souq Waqif.
As the face of our luxury tour fleet, you are responsible for providing a safe, sophisticated, and informative travel experience for international visitors.
This role requires a professional who combines expert heavy-vehicle handling with a passion for high-end guest service.
Primary Responsibilities
- **VIP Tour Execution:** Navigate luxury coaches through Doha’s key landmarks, ensuring a smooth and comfortable ride while adhering to strict tour itineraries.
- **Guest Experience:** Provide a welcoming environment, assisting international tourists with boarding and offering essential cultural or logistical information during transit.
- **Technical Maintenance:** Conduct daily pre-tour safety inspections of the fleet and ensure the highest standards of interior and exterior cleanliness for all luxury coaches.
- **Navigation & Compliance:** Utilize advanced GPS and local knowledge to manage routes through busy tourist districts, maintaining total compliance with Ashghal and Traffic Department regulations.
Required Profile
- Valid Qatar Heavy Bus Driving License.
- Minimum 7–10 years of experience in commercial driving, with at least 3 years in the luxury tourism or hospitality sector.
- Fluent in English; ability to communicate in Arabic or additional European/Asian languages is a significant advantage.
- Impeccable professional appearance and a customer-first mindset.
- Thorough knowledge of Qatar’s cultural sites, hotels, and major landmarks.
