Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Epic Resolute Tester with strong knowledge of Epic Professional Billing (PB) and/or Hospital Billing (HB) modules. The ideal candidate will be responsible for validating Epic revenue cycle workflows, ensuring application quality, executing end-to-end testing, and collaborating with business, and technical teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform functional, integration, system, regression, and UAT testing support for Epic Resolute PB/HB applications.
- Validate revenue cycle workflows including:
- Patient registration and charge capture
- Coding and billing
- Claims processing
- Payment posting
- Denials and collections
- Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on business requirements.
- Conduct end-to-end testing across Epic and integrated applications/interfaces (HL7, FHIR, X12, clearinghouses, third-party systems).
- Perform defect triage, root cause analysis, retesting, and defect closure validation.
- Coordinate with Epic analysts, business users, product owners, developers, and SMEs during testing cycles.
- Support test data preparation and test environment validation.
- Create test metrics, status reports, and testing documentation.
- 12+ years of software testing experience.
- 7+ years of hands-on experience testing Epic Resolute PB and/or HB.
- Strong understanding of healthcare revenue cycle management processes.
- Experience in:
- SIT, UAT, Regression Testing
- End-to-End Testing
- Defect Management Lifecycle
- Test Planning and Execution
- Familiarity with Epic workflows and integrated healthcare applications.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
- Other Requirements
Skill Requirements
12+ years of software testing experience.
7+ years of hands-on experience testing Epic Resolute PB and/or HB.
Strong understanding of healthcare revenue cycle management processes.
Experience in:
SIT, UAT, Regression Testing
End-to-End Testing
Defect Management Lifecycle
Test Planning and Execution
Familiarity with Epic workflows and integrated healthcare applications.
Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
