About the Role:

As a Senior Tendering Engineer Steel Line, you will be responsible for securing new business opportunities by leading the preparation of competitive and compliant tenders. You will analyze project requirements, develop technical and commercial proposals, and collaborate with internal teams, vendors, and clients to position bids strategically for success. You will also ensure accuracy, compliance, and effective coordination throughout the tendering lifecycle.

Key Accountabilities:

• Supervise and guide the tendering team on behalf of the Department Manager, ensuring high-quality and timely submissions.
• Analyze project requirements to identify key technical and commercial elements for tender preparation.
• Prepare comprehensive tender documents, including cost estimates, schedules, and technical proposals.
• Review contract terms and conditions and provide recommendations to mitigate risks and enhance value.
• Coordinate with Sales, Engineering, and Project teams to align proposals with client requirements and organizational objectives.
• Engage with vendors and subcontractors by requesting quotations, evaluating offers, and preparing comparison analyses.
• Participate in tender clarification and evaluation meetings, and support negotiations with clients to optimize outcomes.
• Ensure all submissions comply with client specifications, industry standards, and legal requirements.
• Maintain accurate and organized records throughout the tendering process to ensure traceability and audit readiness.
• Support the transition and handover of awarded projects to execution teams.

Qualifications, Skills & Aptitude:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or a related field).
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in tendering, project management, or construction/engineering environments.
• Strong technical and commercial acumen with the ability to analyze complex project requirements.
• Proficiency in tendering tools, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Hands-on experience with E-House, Experience with HVAC, Fire Fighting System.
• Good knowledge of trailers, semi-trailers, and hydraulic systems.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.
• Strong communication skills with proficiency in both Arabic and English.
