Role overview

Responsibilities

• Lead technical-office submittals, shop drawings, material approvals, and method statements.
• Review contract drawings and specifications and raise RFIs and technical queries to the consultant.
• Coordinate civil, architectural, and MEP design and resolve clashes.
• Liaise with consultants, clients, subcontractors, and suppliers on technical matters.
• Ensure compliance with QCS 2014, Qatar Civil Defense, Ashghal, and authority requirements.
• Support quantity take-offs, variations, and technical input for claims.
• Manage document control and technical correspondence logs.
• Supervise and mentor junior technical engineers and draftsmen.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
• 10+ years of construction experience, including at least 5 years in a technical office role.
• Experience on high-rise or large building projects in Qatar or the GCC.
• Strong knowledge of QCS, contract documents, and the approval process.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and MS Office; Revit/BIM exposure is a plus.
• Fluent spoken and written Arabic and English.
• Engineering registration with MME (UPDA).
