Senior Technical Engineer

Role Objective

1. Technical Review & Quality Control

• **Design Analysis:**
• Perform a deep-dive review of
• IFC (Issued for Construction) drawings
• and contract documents to ensure technical feasibility.
• **Conflict Resolution:**
• Identify discrepancies or contradictions within contract documents and prepare formal

RFIs (Request for Information)

• to seek clarification.
• **Drawing Approval:**
• Review and approve all types of
• coordinated shop drawings
• across various disciplines to ensure they are ready for site execution.

2. Planning & Progress Tracking

• **Submittal Management:**
• Prepare and maintain

E1 (Shop Drawings) and E2 (Materials)

• logs and schedules.
• **Baseline Alignment:**
• Ensure all technical submittals are synchronized with the project’s baseline program to avoid delays.
• **Subcontractor Management:**
• Monitor and follow up on submission dates with subcontractors to ensure timely delivery of technical data.

3. Coordination & Communication

• **Cross-Disciplinary Integration:**
• Lead the coordination between
• Civil and MEP
• technical teams to ensure zero clashes during installation.
• **Stakeholder Liaison:**
• Conduct daily follow-ups with the

Consultant

• and internal technical teams to keep the project moving.
• **Reporting:**
• Provide the Technical Manager with daily updates on activities, progress, and potential bottlenecks.

4. On-Site Technical Support

• **Problem Solving:**
• Act as the primary point of contact for resolving complex site issues and technical hurdles as they arise.
• **Discipline Coordination:**
• Ensure smooth handovers and interface management between all engineering disciplines on-site.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• **Education:**
• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil.
• **Experience:**
• Minimum 7–10 years of experience in technical engineering roles within the construction industry.
• **Software Proficiency:**
• Expert knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit (BIM), and Microsoft Office/Project.
• **Soft Skills:**
• Strong analytical thinking, leadership presence, and the ability to negotiate with consultants and subcontractors.
