Role overview

Technical review and coordination

• Review IFC, shop, and coordination drawings for compliance with specifications, codes, and employer requirements.
• Coordinate technical queries and design clarifications with the design consultant and ensure timely, traceable closure.
• Conduct constructability and maintainability reviews; identify design gaps and interface risks.
• Review materials, method statements, temporary works, ITPs, mock-ups, and samples and recommend them for approval.

Approvals, site supervision, and close-out

• Track NOCs, permits, and authority approvals; ensure contractor adherence to authority comments and conditions.
• Lead technical site-supervision oversight and independent inspections before consultant or authority sign-offs.
• Direct root-cause analysis and close-out of NCRs and SORs; verify FAT/SAT and performance tests.
• Ensure survey controls, as-built accuracy, and builder's work coordination.

Qualifications and experience

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
• At least 15 years of technical engineering experience, including 5–8 years in the UAE and strong Abu Dhabi authority exposure.
• Consultant experience on mixed-use or commercial programs and infrastructure or landscape programs.

Required and desired skills

• English fluency, stakeholder management, communication, technical writing, and review skills are required.
• Arabic is advantageous.
• Leadership, analytical and problem-solving ability, decision-making, and teamwork are desired.
