Role overview

Tax compliance and accounting

• Prepare corporate tax, Zakat, VAT, and withholding tax calculations, filings, and payments by regulatory deadlines.
• Calculate and record monthly and year-end tax provisions; support tax accounting close and deferred tax computations where applicable.
• Maintain audit-ready documentation for tax positions and regulatory submissions.
• Manage ZATCA portal registration updates, return submissions, queries, and notices.
• Support statutory and tax audits or inspections with external auditors and ZATCA officials; prepare schedules and reconciliations.

Tax advisory and process responsibilities

• Monitor KSA tax legislation, including Zakat, CIT, VAT, WHT, and e-invoicing requirements, and assess business impact.
• Coordinate FATOORA compliance with IT and finance, including Phase 2 integration requirements.
• Review contracts, invoices, and cross-border transactions for withholding tax treatment and remittance.
• Assist with transfer pricing documentation and related-party disclosures under Saudi regulations.
• Identify process improvements and support ERP workflow automation; manage ZATCA correspondence, assessments, and disputes, escalating complex matters.

Experience and expertise

• 2–3 years of tax reporting and compliance or external audit experience.
• Fintech, banking, or Big 4 experience is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of Saudi Zakat, corporate income tax, VAT, and withholding tax regulations.
• Experience with regulatory submissions to authorities such as ZATCA.

Qualifications and skills

• CPA or ACCA qualifications are highly preferred.
• Advanced Excel skills are required; ERP experience is preferred and Oracle NetSuite is a plus.
• Fluent written and spoken English and Arabic.
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ownership mindset.
