Job Purpose

  • Support and execute workforce planning and talent acquisition activities in alignment with the policies, frameworks, and guidelines applicable to government entities in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of workforce plans to ensure the timely attraction, recruitment, and placement of qualified talent that meets the department’s operational and strategic requirements.
  • Role and Responsibilities:
  • Ensure compliance with the requirements and directives of the Human Resources Authority, Department of Finance, Senior Management, and the Executive Office regarding the preparation and submission of workforce and financial-related reports within established timelines.
  • Coordinate with internal and external auditors during annual audit activities by providing the required information, documentation, and clarifications to ensure the accuracy, completeness, and effective implementation of year-end reviews and audit recommendations.
  • Support the Head of Department in the preparation and management of the annual workforce budget, ensuring alignment with the Department’s strategic objectives, operational priorities, and workforce planning requirements.
  • Utilize recruitment metrics and workforce analytics to monitor recruitment performance, enhance hiring effectiveness, improve decision-making, and continuously optimize recruitment processes and outcomes.
  • Develop and update job descriptions in coordination with business units and department managers, ensuring clear role specifications, responsibilities, and competency requirements for each position.
  • Actively participate in the preparation and execution of the Department’s recruitment and workforce planning strategy in alignment with the overall organizational talent acquisition strategy.
  • Establish and maintain effective professional relationships with recruitment partners, advisory entities, and relevant stakeholders to support talent acquisition initiatives.
  • Ensure that recruitment and selection activities are conducted in accordance with approved recruitment plans, organizational policies, and best practice methodologies.
  • Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to enhance employee selection and assessment methodologies and contribute to the continuous improvement of recruitment practices.
  • Support the development and implementation of written assessments, competency-based evaluations, and testing mechanisms for designated positions.
  • Coordinate and arrange candidate interviews, assessment activities, and onboarding procedures while ensuring smooth completion of all related recruitment formalities.
  • Prepare and process employment offers, employment contracts, recruitment approvals, and appointment documentation in accordance with approved policies and procedures.
  • Contribute to the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of human resources policies and procedures while ensuring compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and organizational standards.

Job Requirement

  • Understand the HRA policy governing the Hiring in the government Sector
  • Expert in Microsoft Office

• Stakeholder & Relationship Management

  • Experienced in using AI and preferably was involved in AI initiative or project

Education and Experience

A bachelor's degree in human resource or any related discipline with a minimum of 5 years' experience in related field.
