Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Senior TAB (Testing, Adjusting & Balancing) Technician.
The Senior TAB Technician is responsible for carrying out Testing, Adjusting, and Balancing activities for HVAC systems across various projects, ensuring systems are operating in accordance with design intent, project specifications, and industry standards.
The role involves conducting airflow and water flow measurements, performing balancing of airside and hydronic systems, troubleshooting system performance issues, and verifying HVAC system functionality.
The Senior TAB Technician will work closely with project engineers, consultants, contractors, and site teams to ensure TAB activities are completed accurately and efficiently.
The Senior TAB Technician will be responsible for operating and maintaining balancing instruments, interpreting HVAC drawings and specifications, recording field data, and preparing detailed TAB reports and documentation.
The position requires strong technical knowledge, attention to detail, and the ability to identify and resolve issues that may affect system performance.
The role also includes ensuring compliance with project requirements, safety regulations, and quality standards while supporting successful project delivery and client satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Testing, Adjusting, and Balancing (TAB) of HVAC systems
- Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, airflow measurement, water balancing, and performance testing
- Proficiency in using TAB instruments and balancing equipment
- Ability to read and interpret HVAC drawings, schematics, and project specifications
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Experience in preparing TAB reports, documentation, and test records
- Good communication and coordination skills to work effectively with engineers, consultants, contractors, and site teams
- Knowledge of HVAC commissioning procedures and industry standards is an advantage
- Valid UAE driving license is preferred
