Senior Systems Software Engineer - NV Cloud Functions

Role Overview

What You Will Be Doing

• Develop ways to make GPU- and DPU-accelerated applications easier to develop, deploy, and monitor on NVIDIA hardware.
• Design and ship services in Java, Go, and Rust through a public open-source repository.
• Automate and optimize cloud-native build, test, integration, and release processes.
• Integrate the platform with NVIDIA technologies including KAI Scheduler, NVIDIA NIM, Grove, and Dynamo.
• Triage community issues and pull requests and write contributor documentation.

What We Need To See

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of hands-on software engineering experience.
• Expert knowledge of Go, C, or Rust, plus data structures, algorithms, and distributed software architecture.
• Strong Kubernetes and container technology knowledge with GitLab and ArgoCD automation experience.
• Bash or Python scripting expertise and experience with Unix-like kernel internals such as Linux.
• Understanding of performance, security, and reliability in complex distributed systems.

Ways To Stand Out

• Background with publish-subscribe models and message queues.
• Experience optimizing high-throughput network paths and unary, streaming, or bidirectional HTTP/2 and gRPC protocols.
• Experience developing Kubernetes Custom Resources and Operators deployed in cloud service providers.
