We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled
Senior Systems & Devops Administrator
to manage, optimize, secure, and automate the organization's IT infrastructure across on-premises and cloud environments.
The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in systems administration, cloud technologies, virtualization, automation, DevOps methodologies, and infrastructure security.
This role is responsible for ensuring the availability, performance, scalability, and security of enterprise systems while driving automation initiatives, modernizing infrastructure operations, and supporting continuous integration and deployment processes.
The successful candidate will serve as the highest technical escalation point for complex infrastructure issues and collaborate closely with development, security, and business teams to align technology solutions with organizational objectives.
Infrastructure, Cloud & Virtualization
- Administer and optimize enterprise infrastructure across on-premises and cloud platforms.
- Manage Microsoft Azure environments, including virtual machines, networking, storage, identity services, and security controls.
- Administer VMware vSphere/vCenter environments, including clusters, High Availability (HA), resource optimization, and capacity planning.
Devops & Automation
- Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to support application deployment and operational efficiency.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, and operational workflows using Infrastructure as Code principles.
Containerization & Platform Operations
- Deploy, manage, and troubleshoot containerized workloads using Docker and Kubernetes.
- Administer Kubernetes clusters, including upgrades, scaling, monitoring, and lifecycle management.
Directory Services & Identity Management
- Administer Active Directory Domain Services (AD DS), GPOs, DNS, and DHCP.
- Manage identity lifecycle processes and directory security.
Microsoft 365 & Messaging Services
- Manage Microsoft 365 services, including Exchange Online, Entra ID, Intune, and Security & Compliance solutions.
- Maintain and support on-premises and hybrid Exchange environments.
Backup, Disaster Recovery & Business Continuity
- Manage Veeam Backup & Replication infrastructure.
- Design and maintain backup strategies, repositories, retention policies, and recovery procedures.
Linux & Windows Administration
- Provide advanced administration for Windows Server and Linux environments (RHEL, CentOS, Ubuntu).
- Perform patch management, performance tuning, capacity planning, and system hardening.
Security & Compliance
- Implement security best practices across infrastructure, cloud environments, and DevOps pipelines.
- Manage access controls, privileged accounts, secrets management, and certificate lifecycle management.
Monitoring & Incident Management
- Implement and maintain infrastructure monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions.
- Perform root cause analysis for critical incidents and service disruptions.
Documentation
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, system diagrams, runbooks, SOPs, and operational procedures.
- Mentor junior administrators and provide technical guidance to support teams.
Cloud Platforms
Hands-on experience managing Microsoft Azure environments, including compute, networking, storage, identity services, security controls, governance, and cost optimization
Devops & Infrastructure As Code
Strong experience implementing Infrastructure as Code and configuration management using Terraform, Ansible, ARM Templates/Bicep, and CloudFormation.
Ci And Cd & Source Control
Experience designing, implementing, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, and Git version control systems.
Containers & Orchestration
Hands-on experience deploying, managing, and troubleshooting containerized applications using Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, and container registry platforms.
Security & Endpoint Management
Strong knowledge of endpoint management, patch management, vulnerability remediation, compliance requirements, and security solutions using Intune and ManageEngine.
Email Security
Experience managing and configuring enterprise email security solutions including Proofpoint anti-phishing controls, spam filtering, and email threat protection.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
- Minimum 5–8 years of hands-on experience in Systems Administration, Infrastructure Operations, Cloud Administration roles.
