Role overview

Responsibilities

• Partner with investment professionals as a trusted advisor and support their use of the platform.
• Work with IT, Operations, and Investment colleagues to understand business processes and application use.
• Answer or research functional and technical questions from business partners and colleagues.
• Manage production incidents, escalation, root-cause analysis, and risk- and ROI-based prioritization of fixes.
• Respond to ad hoc analysis requests and provide information-delivery solutions.
• Test system functionality, train end users, and establish support processes for system changes.
• Identify improvements to methods and approaches supporting investment processes.

Profile requirements and qualifications

• At least 3 years of application support experience in financial services.
• Experience with holdings, transactions, security master data, analytics, and performance concepts.
• Understanding of equities, bonds, swaps, options, futures, forwards, and foreign exchange.
• Hands-on SQL and ability to extract and analyze data for troubleshooting and issue resolution.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills in investment management systems and data technologies.
• Hands-on experience working directly with investment professionals.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, attention to detail, and commitment to quality work.
• Ability to work independently and within a global team in a fast-paced, business-critical environment.
• AI tools such as Claude or GitHub Copilot are advantageous.
• CFA Institute Claritas Certificate, CFA Charter, or progress toward one is an asset.
