Responsibilities
- Manage field crew in normal survey field operations for construction, property surveys and design surveys.
- Coordinate field layout for buildings and sites.
- QA/QC site control and layout information from the office.
- Read and understand construction plans and property plats.
- Manipulate digital cut sheets and point data in files.
- Oversee field instrument operations.
- Client communication on job sites.
- Manage use of field data controller and file transfers.
Required experience
High School Diploma
Minimum years of experience: 8-12 years with a concentration in commercial construction.
Capable of field work which may include heavy manual labor
Logical mindset
Adaptive understanding of problems
Experienced in field staff management
Solid math skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experienced in Excel spreadsheets and computers
- Experienced in modern survey technology and equipment
- Looking for growth in professional career
- Knows some AutoCAD
