About the Role

Metichem is seeking a Senior Supply Chain Manager to lead and optimize our regional supply chain strategy and operations across the Middle East. Based in UAE or KSA, this senior role is responsible for overseeing procurement, production, logistics, and process optimization functions, ensuring efficiency, cost control, QHSE compliance, and on-time customer delivery across the GCC network.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the regional global supply chain network with full accountability for QHSE, demand planning, cost management, and customer delivery performance
• Oversee three departments: Procurement & Planning, Production & Logistics, and Supply Chain Process Optimization
• Drive Sales & Operational Planning (S&OP) and lead Capex project deployment
• Define and implement KPIs and performance metrics consistently across the network
• Develop and execute a roadmap of operational improvement, customer service enhancement, and cost reduction initiatives
• Manage supplier performance metrics and tolling agreements
• Build and manage supply chain Capex and Opex budgets
• Lead network expansion and establishment of new blending facilities safely and efficiently
• Incorporate customer satisfaction feedback into continuous improvement strategies
• Present supply chain performance analysis to senior management
• Collaborate with the Southeast Asia supply chain team to share best practices and ensure operational excellence

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
• Master's degree in Supply Chain Management is a strong plus
• 10–12+ years in supply chain management, including procurement, logistics, demand planning, and manufacturing.
• Experience in the water treatment or chemical industry is strongly preferred
• Proven people and team management experience
• Familiarity with ERP systems and supply chain-related processes
• Knowledge of KSA regulations for chemical imports, exports, and manufacturing is a strong plus
• Ability and willingness to travel across GCC countries
• Strong understanding of cultural diversity and the Middle East business environment
