Senior Structural Engineer Precast

Role overview

Responsibilities

• Perform structural analysis and design for precast and RCC building structures.
• Develop and review structural models using ETABS and SAFE.
• Design columns, beams, slabs, shear walls, foundations, and other structural elements.
• Design and detail precast elements and their connections or joints.
• Review structural drawings, design calculations, and reinforcement details.
• Review shop drawings and resolve structural or site-related technical issues.
• Carry out structural checks against applicable IS Codes and project specifications.
• Review structural analysis and design submissions from consultants and vendors.
• Ensure structural designs are safe, economical, and practical to execute.

Preferred candidate profile

• Seven to twelve years of experience is preferred, preferably including significant precast or high-rise building experience.
• Strong hands-on knowledge of ETABS and SAFE and good understanding of precast structural systems and connections.
• Strong knowledge of RCC design and structural detailing.
• Knowledge of relevant IS Codes, including IS 456, IS 1893, IS 13920, and IS 15916.
• Ability to independently review structural calculations and drawings.
• Experience in high-rise, residential, or commercial building projects is preferred.
• Good coordination and problem-solving skills.

Education

• B.Tech or B.E. in Civil Engineering.
• M.Tech in Structural Engineering is an advantage; a master's degree is preferred.

Compensation and benefits

• Pay is ₹80,000–₹150,000 per month.
• Cell phone reimbursement is offered.
