Role overview

Responsibilities

• Produce structural design work and drawings in MicroStation and AutoCAD.
• Prepare detailed steel, concrete, and site-plan drawings, conceptual layouts, and construction details.
• Participate in discipline and multidisciplinary drawing reviews.
• Assist with technical specifications, reports, and sketches.
• Visit sites to collect measurements and related information as required.
• Perform project management and construction supervision tasks as required.
• Supervise and mentor junior designers preparing drawings.
• Contribute to technical presentations and white papers and support local office culture.

Background and qualifications

• At least 10 years of structural design experience in mining or industrial projects.
• Undergraduate or graduate degree in civil or structural engineering from an accredited university.
• Extensive 2D and 3D structural modeling and drawing software experience for steel and reinforced concrete.
• AutoCAD and MicroStation experience required.
• Active Saudi Council of Engineers membership required.
• Good knowledge of mining industry standards, codes, guidelines, Saudi engineering codes, and technical standards.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project.
• Civil 3D and Revit experience is an asset; BIM 360, Bluebeam, and Navisworks experience is preferred.
• Mining-related process knowledge is an asset; large multidisciplinary EPCM project experience is preferred.

Professional competencies
