Role overview
Join the UAE engineering team as a Senior Structural Design Engineer working on residential, commercial, industrial, and high-rise projects.
The role calls for structural design expertise and extensive experience with the UAE market and authority requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering and at least five years of UAE structural design consultancy experience.
- Strong knowledge of RCC and steel structure design, UAE building codes, international standards, and authority approvals and coordination.
- Proficiency in structural design software such as ETABS, SAFE, STAAD Pro, SAP2000, or Revit Structure; these are listed as examples.
- Experience in design review, value engineering, and project coordination.
- Ability to lead design teams and coordinate with architects, MEP consultants, and project stakeholders.
- Excellent technical reporting and communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and review structural design calculations, drawings, and reports; lead design development for projects.
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and clients and ensure compliance with UAE codes, regulations, and authority requirements.
- Conduct design optimization and technical evaluations; support delivery within timeline and quality standards.
- Attend meetings with clients, consultants, and authorities when required.
