Senior Structural Design Engineer

About The Role

Key Responsibilities

• Design structural systems for buildings in compliance with authority requirements and industry standards.
• Collaborate with project managers and team members on cost-effective client solutions.
• Review engineering designs for quality and safety.
• Manage and mentor junior engineers and BIM technicians.
• Apply quality assurance and quality control procedures throughout project execution.
• Design reinforced concrete and structural steelwork for buildings and infrastructure-related structures.

Experience and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or structural engineering.
• Minimum 8 years of structural engineering experience focused on building structures.
• Experience with water-retaining structures, building structures, steelwork, or related infrastructure.
• Experience coordinating with MEP, architecture, and utilities disciplines.
• Proficiency in SAP2000, ETABS, STAAD.Pro, and CAD tools.
• Strong project management, communication, and multidisciplinary leadership skills.
• Professional engineering license or equivalent certification is preferred.
• Master’s degree is preferred.

Additional Skills

• Fluency in English is required; Arabic language skills are advantageous.
• Experience in a 3D design environment is needed.
• Ability to work to BIM protocols is desirable.
• Knowledge of retail, commercial, or industrial sector practices is advantageous.

Workplace

• The role includes working in the office three days per week within a collaborative and flexible environment.
