Role Description The Senior Strategy Manager will play a key role in shaping the long-term direction, growth plans, and commercial performance of the travel trade show.
This part-time, on-site position is based in Dubai and involves close collaboration with leadership, sales, marketing, and operations teams.
Day-to-day responsibilities include analyzing market trends, competitive landscapes, and customer insights to inform strategic initiatives and new revenue opportunities.
The Senior Strategy Manager will develop business cases, financial models, and go-to-market strategies for new segments, partnerships, and geographies.
The role also includes supporting executive decision-making through clear presentations, tracking performance against strategic goals, and recommending course corrections as needed.
Qualifications
- Strong Analytical Skills to interpret data, assess market dynamics, and generate actionable insights.
- Proficiency in Finance to build financial models, evaluate business cases, and support budgeting and forecasting.
- Background in Management Consulting or Consulting to structure problems, design strategies, and drive implementation.
- Excellent Communication skills, including the ability to present complex information clearly to senior stakeholders.
- Experience in strategy, corporate development, or business planning, ideally within events, travel, or related industries.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Finance, or a related field; an advanced degree (MBA or equivalent) is an advantage.
- Proven ability to work cross-functionally, manage multiple priorities, and deliver outcomes in a fast-paced environment.
- Comfort working on-site in Dubai and engaging with international partners and stakeholders.
