Senior Strategy Consultant

Basic salary c£70,000 with up to 80% homeworking options available + free on-site parking

We are seeking an experienced Strategy Consultant to help shape and develop the long-term direction and future of NFU Mutual through leading on strategic projects and supporting strategic planning, to facilitating the effective formulation and articulation of strategic alternatives.

Bringing your knowledge and experience, you will be comfortable challenging and guiding key projects and reviews to ensure strategic implications are fully considered and approaches are consistent with long term strategy.

You will support the company’s strategic planning process by developing, implementing, and monitoring long-term strategic planning processes and models that build strategic plans and that integrate with the medium term and one year business plans.

A confident communicator, you will contribute to and facilitate the formulation and monitoring of strategy, in collaboration with the Executive, senior management and NFUM Board, that will enable NFU Mutual to define and deliver its long- term objectives.

Possessing excellent stakeholder engagement skills, you will build and maintain effective working relationships with the Executive and Senior Management, to ensure the effective delivery of objectives.

This role is based in our Tiddington Head Office, just outside Stratford-Upon-Avon. However, we understand how important a positive work-life balance is, so to help you give your best, we offer great facilities when you want to be in an office environment and support to work up to 80% of your hours from home

As an experienced Strategy Consultant you’ll be instrumental in helping us develop the long-term direction and future of NFU Mutual. It is therefore essential you have a track record in delivering strategic analysis and experience in successfully managing cross-divisional project teams from within General Insurance, Financial Services or a consultancy-based business.

A relevant professional qualification is preferred and Degree standard plus post graduate professional qualifications is desirable
