Role overview

The Senior Strategy Analyst will help grow and scale the product through work spanning pricing, financial forecasting, growth, credit risk, new product development and product analytics.

The role works cross-functionally to develop insight-driven strategies, optimize performance and support responsible growth.

Pricing and portfolio analysis

  • Develop and optimize promotional and pricing strategies through analysis and experimentation, balancing customer engagement, growth, price elasticity and profitability.
  • Analyze marketing campaigns and conversion funnels; monitor industry trends and competitor activity.
  • Partner with Credit Risk Analytics, Growth and Data Science to assess portfolio performance at sub-segment level.
  • Define KPIs, monitor performance and recommend improvements that inform wider business strategy.

Expansion and execution

  • Assess feasibility of new product, channel and segment expansion opportunities.
  • Create commercial assessment frameworks and tools, including ROI or NPV models, and deliver data-backed recommendations.
  • Work with Credit Risk, Data Science, Product and Growth stakeholders to implement strategies.
  • Present insights to senior leadership, then validate and iterate on strategies after deployment.
  • Mentor and coach junior graduate analysts.

Essential experience

  • At least 3 years of experience in an analytics role in any discipline, such as Growth, Credit Risk, Product Analytics or Marketing.
  • Coding proficiency is required; SQL and Python are ideal.

Desirable experience

  • Experience in an FCA-regulated financial business is desirable; the source description is truncated before the complete qualification is stated.
