Position Overview
The Senior Strategic Transactions Officer will lead the evaluation, structuring, and execution of complex corporate transactions, including mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, and strategic partnerships.
This role requires advanced expertise in corporate finance, deal-making, and value creation, with a focus on delivering sustainable growth and maximizing shareholder value.
Key Responsibilities
- Deal Origination: Source and assess high-value opportunities aligned with corporate strategy.
- Transaction Structuring: Lead negotiations, financial modeling, and structuring of transactions.
- Due Diligence: Oversee financial, legal, and operational due diligence processes.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with internal leadership, investors, regulators, and external advisors.
- Risk Management: Identify and mitigate risks associated with strategic deals.
- Post-Deal Integration: Ensure seamless integration and realization of synergies.
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Finance, Economics, or Business Administration.
- 8–12 years of experience in M&A, corporate finance, or investment banking.
- Proven track record in large-scale transaction execution.
- Strong knowledge of Qatar’s regulatory environment and international deal-making standards.
- Excellent negotiation, analytical, and leadership skills.
- Pay: QAR173.00 - QAR231.00 per hour
