We are seeking a highly analytical and commercially minded Senior Strategic Transactions Officer to support and lead complex strategic, corporate finance, and transaction advisory initiatives.
The role will focus on evaluating opportunities, supporting transactions, and helping shape decisions that drive long-term value for the organization.
Responsibilities
- Lead and support strategic transaction workstreams, including acquisitions, divestitures, partnerships, restructurings, and capital initiatives.
- Conduct financial analysis, valuation, scenario modeling, and business case development.
- Prepare transaction materials, investment memoranda, management presentations, and approval papers.
- Coordinate due diligence efforts with internal teams, advisors, legal counsel, and external stakeholders.
- Support negotiations on commercial terms, deal structure, and risk mitigation.
- Assess strategic fit, market dynamics, financial impact, and execution risks of potential transactions.
- Monitor transaction pipelines and provide regular updates to senior leadership.
- Contribute to post-transaction integration, performance tracking, and value creation initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with internal governance, approval processes, and regulatory requirements.
- Build strong relationships with business leaders, finance teams, advisors, and counterparties.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in strategy, transactions, investment banking, corporate development, private equity, or related fields.
- Strong financial modeling, valuation, and analytical skills.
- Experience preparing board-level or executive-level materials.
- Solid understanding of M&A, strategic investments, capital structuring, and transaction execution.
- Strong communication, stakeholder management, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, business, accounting, or a related field required; MBA or pro
- Pay: QAR35.00 - QAR70.00 per hour
