Responsibilities

  • Define the vision and end-to-end strategy for Google Mobile Services (GMS) approval processes, compatibility test suites (Compatibility Test Suite (CTS), Google Test Suite (GTS), Vendor Test Suite (VTS)), and test infrastructure to ensure high-efficacy, streamlined device certifications.
  • Drive next-generation device quality across the global Android ecosystem by turning certification metrics into actionable improvements with internal engineering teams and external partners.
  • Advocate for industry-leading testing and development lifecycle practices across global Android device partners.
  • Manage the Android Partner Solutions team, utilizing AI-driven automation and extended workforce operations to scale release and compliance audits globally.

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 10 years of experience in program management.
  • 7 years of experience in leadership roles with/without direct reports.
  • Experience in Android development.
  • Experience with software engineering practices (e.g., testing, code reviews).

Preferred qualifications:

  • 10 years of experience managing cross-functional/team projects.
  • Experience building, leading, and scaling technical teams, including managing managers or global extended workforce operations.
  • Experience with the Android OS architecture, Google Mobile Services (GMS), and compatibility test suites (such as CTS, GTS, or VTS).
  • Experience partnering directly with global hardware OEMs, SoC vendors, or carrier ecosystems to drive software quality and commercial device launches.
  • Ability to leverage data analytics and AI-driven automation to streamline operational workflows, compliance audits, and engineering release processes.
