Architecture and lifecycle
- Translate business strategy, product requirements, and client needs into architectural blueprints for products and customized services.
- Ensure solutions are scalable, resilient, secure by design, and aligned with enterprise architecture and business goals.
- Evaluate technologies, platforms, and patterns, including examples such as microservices, serverless, and event-driven architecture.
- Maintain architectural documentation, diagrams, standards, and best practices.
- Collaborate with product management on architecture, roadmaps, technical feasibility, and new features.
- Partner with service delivery and client teams to design solutions aligned with client expectations, contracts, and operations.
- Oversee implementation integrity, conduct architectural reviews, and mentor development and delivery teams.
Pre-sales and hands-on delivery
- Scope pre-sales solutions, build proofs of concept and demos, estimate effort, and present technical approaches to prospective clients.
- Prototype and build critical-path components with delivery teams to validate architecture decisions using working code.
- Own the technical narrative from opportunity through go-live and post-launch stabilization, preserving continuity between sales and delivery.
Leadership and tooling
- Guide and mentor engineering teams and fellow architects; promote architectural best practices, innovation, and technical excellence.
- Lead proofs of concept to evaluate technologies and architectural approaches before adoption.
- Customize and extend internal AI-assisted delivery tooling, including the PDLC framework, and drive its adoption and evolution across teams.
Experience and capabilities
- 12–17 years of experience.
- Deep technical expertise and business acumen across product development and client service engagements.
- Hands-on architecture and delivery ownership, including prototyping and building critical-path components.
- Technical leadership, mentorship, and ability to communicate architecture, decisions, risks, and trade-offs to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
