Role Overview

We are seeking highly experienced Senior Solution Architect / Engineer to lead the design, implementation, and support of wealth management, brokerage, and investment platforms.

This role requires strong techno-functional expertise, combining deep knowledge of financial systems with modern cloud-native architectures, while ensuring system scalability, resilience, and regulatory compliance in a highly dynamic banking environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Wealth, Investment & Trading Systems

• Design and support wealth and investment platforms covering asset classes such as equities, bonds, funds, digital assets, and retirement products.
• Work on brokerage and trading systems, including exposure to UAE exchanges (ADX, DFM) and global markets.
• Support end-to-end trade lifecycle including order capture, execution, settlement, custody, and reporting.
• Contribute to robo-advisory solutions, portfolio lifecycle management, and corporate actions processing.
• Participate in initiatives related to digital/virtual asset platforms.

Architecture & Engineering

• Design scalable systems using microservices architecture, APIs, and integration patterns.
• Develop and support applications using Java and/or .NET Core.
• Work with relational (Oracle, SQL Server) and NoSQL (MongoDB) databases.
• Build and deploy solutions on AWS and/or Azure cloud platforms.
• Ensure secure-by-design architecture with strong cybersecurity and data protection practices.

Production Support & Reliability

• Provide production support for mission-critical systems, including participation in on-call rotations.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex system issues across applications, integrations, and infrastructure.
• Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) and implement long-term fixes.
• Monitor system performance and create dashboards for system health and availability.

DevOps & Modern Practices

• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, automated deployments, and testing frameworks.
• Use Docker and Kubernetes for containerization and orchestration.
• Leverage monitoring and logging tools to improve operational efficiency.

Functional & Regulatory Alignment

• Apply knowledge of consumer banking products such as accounts, loans, and digital channels.
• Ensure compliance with UAE Central Bank regulations and global banking standards.
• Integrate risk management, fraud detection, and security controls into solutions.

Required Skills:

Core Expertise

• Strong experience in wealth management and brokerage systems
• Hands-on experience in production support and system operations
• Expertise in microservices, APIs, and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure)

Technical Skills

• Proficiency in Java or .NET Core
• Experience with SQL/NoSQL databases
• Knowledge of CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes

Domain Knowledge

• Strong understanding of trade lifecycle and investment platforms
• Familiarity with UAE or GCC banking environments (preferred)

Soft Skills

• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
