Collaborate with clients and internal teams on deployments, migrations, and post-implementation support for mission-critical environments.
Infrastructure delivery
- Design, install, configure, and administer VMware vSphere, vCenter, vSAN, SRM, NSX, and Nutanix AHV.
- Deploy Nutanix Kubernetes Platform and Nutanix AI for container orchestration and GPU-accelerated or AI workloads.
- Administer Nutanix Files, Objects, protection domains and groups, snapshots, and replication.
- Administer Red Hat OpenShift, including air-gapped environments, provisioning, networking, and storage integration.
- Build and maintain GitOps CI/CD pipelines; automate provisioning and patching with Ansible and Satellite.
- Implement disaster recovery with Veeam, Zerto, Commvault, EMC Networker, and SRM protection plans.
- Deploy HPE storage systems and configure Brocade, Cisco, and MDS SAN switch zoning.
- Lead HPE server and Synergy implementations and upgrades; manage firmware and capacity planning.
- Administer RHEL, CentOS, Oracle Linux, SUSE, HP-UX, high-availability clustering, and LVM.
- Configure backup for Linux, UNIX, Windows, NFS, VMware, Hyper-V, Office 365, and Nutanix workloads.
- Plan server, storage, database, and workload migrations, including P2V, with minimal downtime and rollback strategies.
- Conduct infrastructure health checks, performance tuning, capacity planning, troubleshooting, and incident resolution to meet SLAs.
Client delivery and documentation
- Prepare technical documentation, as-built diagrams, migration runbooks, and stakeholder knowledge-transfer sessions.
- Test application-level and item-level restores for databases, file systems, mailboxes, and virtual machines; document results.
- Prepare statements of work, service-level agreements, and technical or commercial project documentation.
- Work with internal service delivery, presales, and sales teams; coordinate with vendors and clients on requirements, escalations, validation, licensing, delivery, migration, and support.
Education and experience
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- 12–16 years of experience in datacenter solutions, virtualization, hyperconverged infrastructure, storage, backup, disaster recovery, and data migration.
- Hands-on exposure to containers, automation, and AI infrastructure is preferred.
Certifications listed
